2003 Highlights:

Jan's father, William, passed away 12-31-02--it was a blessing after a debilitating stroke. Jan's mom, Shirlee, is doing well now, after a hip ailment. She's now 80 going on 55.

Regina, Jan's toddler niece, fills all our hearts with love. We get to have her with us most of the week when her parents work.

Ken's still at Danka. He is now Captain of the MVFA Ambulance Corps (Capt'n Ken). Jan's still freelancing and tutoring. She's also helping Shirlee out. And she's finally taking piano lessons! We both got new computers (and the boys finally got their PlayStation).

We visited Canada, Michigan, the Adirondacks, Orlando Fl., New Paltz and hiked at Bear Mountain State Park. We also celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary.

Time to brag:

Tyler's in 5th grade now. He received top scores on his 4th grade State Exams. At 11, he plays organized basketball and is a Senior Webelo cub scout.

Tristen is now 8. He just received an excellent 2nd grade report card (with a note of kudos from the principal), and has moved up to blue belt in Karate (5th level).
